Alexandra Headland, also famous in the locals by the title 'Alex', is a coastal Suburb located on Sunshine Coast in Queensland. The town has a laid back and relaxed atmosphere with the balances of relaxing and rolling surf and inviting seashores. The Suburb Alexandra Headland is surrounded by Buderim, Mooloolaba, and Maroochydore with an excellent seaside curve to the north and wild foot-hills to the west. The Suburb’s main attraction is the glorious coastal front of beach, peninsula and parks spreading for kilometres in the north and south. The surfing and swimming coast is guarded by the Alexandra Headland Surf Club. Any day visitors can come here and enjoy viewing the surfers, or even can join them as it is the safe beach under the observations of the Surf Club.
There are lots of beaches to sign up for surf trainings and rental boards. For the bikers and skaters, there is an open-air skate park just along with the coast. The Alexandra Headlands Surf Club is one of the best open skate park and a well-known zone among the biking and skating fanatics and particularly popular at evening for persons wishing to drive in the ignited lit up grounds with the echoes of waves rolling on the seashore in the background.
The beautiful beachside suburb also offers barbecue and picnic facilities, to enjoy a brunch, lunch or dinner on the barbeque with friends and family.
The best thing you would like to do in Alexandra Headlands is to pack your bag for a picnic, with towel and your favourite book and head towards the beach for relaxing day, a swim or hanging out with friends on the white sands.
If you want try on something more chilling then bring along your go fishing tool and pull down to the ocean to try and grab your dinner. If you are lucky enough you may barbeque up a storm at the hillside's barbeque and picnic zone.

Visitors and Residents can adore a sub-tropical environment by the ocean. Which makes balanced as it neither gets blazingly hot here and nor hardly freezing cold. Tropical lightning thunderstorms are a common thing in the summertime months.

There is a great range of dinning places to pick out from modern Australian, Indian, Thai to lots of fresh water fish and sea food to love when you watch the sun going down over the ocean. One of the local’s favorite dining spot is inside the Alex Surf Club situated just on the coast that serves mouthwatering dishes with the panoramic scenes of the zone. The Club offers customers three restaurant options, and all of these are well rated and generous.
Although Alexandra Headland has conserved its own small town appeal, it is just a few minutes from the major shopping centers and fascinations of Sunshine Coast.
