Lanre is a science educator of over a decade and a half experience championing students ‘greatness via the delivery of local and foreign curricula from the key stages to 6th forms. He is a 2004 graduate of biochemistry from the University of Ilorin. His intellectual curiosity guided him to bag MSc in Biochemistry (University of Lagos) and Cambridge International Certificate in Educational Leadership. He is currently rounding up a Post Graduate Diploma in Education with the National Open University of Nigeria. He is also certified by Cambridge International Assessment Examination to deliver the Cambridge Advanced Chemistry and Cambridge Secondary 1 Mathematics.
His love for the advancement of education radiates through his membership of prestigious organisations such as the Teaching and Education Research Association (TERA), and the Scientific and Technical Research Association (STRA). He is a technology integration specialist and certified as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer in 2017.
He is currently appointed as a Cambridge Assessment Specialist in IGCSE Chemistry and also an International Baccalaureate (IB) Examiner. His quest to improve the quality of pastoral services delivered to students and to enhance his capacity as a pastoral team lead, made him to venture into the field of trauma-informed education. He has attended several conferences and training sessions in trauma-informed care and he is currently a member of the Certified Child Trauma Professionals, SHI.
He is a self-described phenomenon teacher with some notable achievements: Outstanding Coach Award, Conrad Innovation Challenge, Nigeria(2019); Outstanding Lesson Recognition, Lagos State Ministry of Education monitoring and evaluation team, Greensprings School(2018); Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE) status award by Microsoft Worldwide Education for three consecutive years 2016,2017,2018; the prestigious Greensprings Secondary School Teacher of the Year Award, and Best Staff of the Year,2016/2017.He has attended several trainings, workshops, seminars, conferences and taken online courses in Evidence-Based Trauma Treatment for Adolescence, Emotional Intelligence , Classroom management, Understanding Lesson Planning & Engaging with Learning Technologies,21st Century Learning Design, Microsoft in the Classroom, Teacher Academy: Office online & OneDrive, Teacher Academy: OneNote, the Ultimate Collaboration Tool, MIE Trainer Academy certification and Teaching with Technology courses.
Lanre’s teaching is driven and guided by the passion to create a spark of greatness and give every child an unforgettable learning experience via the excellent delivery of the curriculum. He believes that every opportunity to facilitate learning within and outside the classroom is an opportunity to facilitate the both the transition into and the delivery of a future. His teaching goal, therefore, is to create opportunities for his students, while leveraging on his competencies for greater impact.

Lanre prides himself as a teen mentor, motivational speaker, and disruptive education resources manager, content designer, edupreneur, teacher training facilitator. He is currently a chemistry teacher and a head of year at Greensprings School, Lekki.
