100% FREE Critiques!
When you request one of my critiques, be sure that you are secure enough in your writing to take my criticism. I'm not harsh, but I am blunt. If you are only looking for praise, my critiques are not for you.
When you request a critique, you can expect me to follow a specific set of points that will highlight areas of improvement and be tailored to your writing level. You can also request a "grading rubric", as shown below.
Critiques come in bullet-point form and include positive notes and constructive criticism. Send me follow-up questions as needed!
As described, critiques are 100% free, but donations are very much appreciated! However, if you request a critique over 5 chapters long (or over 12,000 words), I do ask that you provide a donation since these critiques are very time consuming and require a lot of attention to detail.

This is the rubric I use for the students that I tutor in person.
This is NOT included in the regular critique. If you'd like to have me use the rubric, just ask, and I'll "grade" your writing!
For writers looking to submit their work, this rubric is designed to help them understand their readiness to publish. I highly recommend it for advanced writers.
