About Me

Hello!

I am Owen Sutkowski, and I am a teacher, connector, writer, and higher education leader. I taught my first course as an undergraduate at Indiana University in 2004, and have been a teacher at heart ever since.

Exploring the art and science of teaching is a passion that I am lucky to live out. I have been fortunate to teach in the Communication discipline at Central Piedmont Community College since 2010.

I have also taught faculty development sessions, facilitated the reimagining of the assessment of our general education program, and co-lead the transition to a new learning management system at Central Piedmont. In addition, I have worked with our regional accrediting body (SACS-COC) as an on-site reviewer, quality enhancement plan lead evaluator, and off-site reviewer.
