Announcement from our Sr. VP, Global Fulfillment:
Hi Team!
I just wanted to take a minute today to let you all know what a fantastic job you are doing for ZAGG. These are challenging times, but myself as well as the rest of the leaders in the organization are excited about the work you all are doing to keep the business moving forward. Furthermore, I want to take a moment address the COVID-19 situation in relation to the warehouse specifically. Out of an abundance of caution, the organization decided it would be prudent to allow to employees to voluntarily work from home if their role allows. As most of you are already aware, the majority of the roles in the warehouse require employees to be on-site due to physical handling of materials. With that being said, your health and well-being is still a top priority for the organization.
Here are proactive measures ZAGG is currently taking:
All business travel is fully restricted
Monitoring any personal travel for employees. If you are taking personal international travel, HR is aware
Mandating all employees who are sick or showing symptoms of respiratory infection (including fever, cough, difficulty breathing, etc.) to self-quarantine
Reminding employees in the warehouse to practice good hygiene and distancing practices
We are conducting routine disinfecting of offices
With all that being said, if you feel like you are at risk or have an underlying health condition, please reach out to your manager and HR as they can explore options (i.e. unpaid leave). We feel confident in the safeguards that are currently put into place. Lastly, we are going to continue to monitor the situation and we will provide updates as things evolve.
Thank you for all that you do!
Kind Regards,
Ky Hovi PLOG
