The Historic Mapping Congress Location Database

Welcome to the HMC Location Database submission page. This page contains data entry forms for a New Submission, Review Committee Request, and Update Submission. All forms have required and non-required data entry fields. The required fields have a red asterisk (*) following the title. ALL required fields must be completed prior to submission.

Prior to beginning the submission process, review the master location database page. If the location does not exist, select "New Submission" form. If adding information to an existing location, select “Update Submission” form.

New Submission: Use for a new location or event.


Review Committee Request_New: Response to a Review Committee request for additional information for a New Submission.


Update Submission: Use to submit an update to an existing location's information.


Review Committee Request_Update: Response to a Review Committee request for additional information for an existing event/location submission.

FILE UPLOAD:
Google Account holders can use the File Upload option to submit supporting files when signed into their Google Account.
Non-Google Account holders must SUBMIT your event prior to emailing your supporting files.
Primary Key Number: You will receive a confirmation email containing a unique Primary Key Number (PKN). The PKN is your submission’s identifier for all follow-on communications. **The PKN must be used in all follow-on emails to the committee including all supporting documents or files**
