The Black Rabbits
CODE OF CONDUCT & OPERATING DESCRIPTION
The Black Rabbits have one main goal – to have fun together whilst pirating in New Eden. We must, however, ensure the reputation of our corporation does not suffer due to foolish actions from our members. Therefore, the following rules have been put in place and all members are required to read and follow them. Failure to comply with these rules will result in swift ejection from our Corp!
The Black Rabbits Operating Description
· We are an outlaw Pirate Corp at heart.
· We operate a NBSI Policy (Not Blue Shoot Immediately).
· We prefer small strike groups over ‘blobfests’.
· We pride ourselves on equality.
· We consider ourselves civilized outlaws.
We are a Pirate Corp:
We ransom and kill other players in-game to have fun and earn in-game money. Roleplay is an important aspect of our participation in Eve; therefore, we always stay in-character during ransoms and when chatting in local chat.
NBSI Policy:
Shooting blue pilots will result in swift ejection from the Corp. If they are not blue, then fire at will.
Small Strike Groups:
We are specialists in guerrilla tactics, winning by superior intel and strategies instead of sheer numbers.
Equality:
All members are equal, regardless of age, race, sex, religion or nationality. Each voice
has the same weight and the only recognized leadership is the Supreme Commander and CEO of the Corp.
Civilized Outlaws:
This is reflected by our friendly attitude towards other players, no matter if they are blue, red or neutral. Shooting someone out of the sky is one thing, insulting people is another and we clearly understand the difference.
The Black Rabbits Code of Conduct
This is the complete TBR Cor code of conduct. Failure to comply with these rules will result in swift ejection from the corp.
Making Money
Funding PvP just by itself is difficult and we understand that. Any way of making money that is not in conflict with CCP’s EULA is generally accepted. Due to the nature of our activity, alternative incomes are mainly generated by alts. Please note that scamming is NOT permitted to members of the Corp. Scamming-alts traced to the Corp will result in their Main Characters being ejected from the Corp.
Smacktalk
This is not tolerated. Personal insults and Real-Life threats to other players will result in swift ejection from the Corp.
Rules of Engagement
· Our motto is ‘For Freedom and Profit’ therefore we prefer ransoming over killing our customers. However, it is up to the Fleet Commander to decide whether a target will be killed or ransomed.
· If we ransom a victim, we always honour our word. If a Corp member does not stick to this very simple rule, they must refund the ransom to the victim out of their wallet. Repeated dishonouring of ransoms will result in ejection from the Corp.
· Wrecks contain valuable loot that finances our activity. Shooting non-empty wrecks is not only completely stupid but also considered sabotage. Whoever does it, replaces the full loot value to the Corp at Jita market prices. Repeated demonstration of such idiocy will result in ejection from the Corp.
· It is forbidden to shoot Guristas NPCs, except in cases of self-defence. If you have the chance to warp-off, then leave the grid.
· Do not embarrass TBR by bringing improperly fitted ships to the fleet. Always bring the proper ship (cruisers for cruiser fleets, battleships for battleship fleets, etc.).
· Sensor boosters are useful if you need to acquire a quick lock - dedicated tacklers, remote repairers etc. Killmail whoring is not a valid excuse. Fit something that provides added value to the fleet.
· For obvious reasons, fleet commanders are encouraged to have a ship scanner and a cargo scanner in the fleet.
· Never fly a ship that you do not have the skills for, a well-skilled cruiser pilot can annihilate an unskilled battleship pilot.
Arranged 1v1s
If you like to do them, it is at your own risk. Be warned that they are rarely honored, and you are more likely to die to an overwhelming force. Nevertheless, if you commit yourself to a duel, you must stick to your word for as long as the other side does not bring in reinforcements.
Logging Off
DO NOT EVEN THINK OF IT DURING ENGAGEMENTS! We all know that the Eve client is far away from being completely stable and disconnects may happen. If they happen on a regular basis whenever you are in danger of losing your ship, you are more than likely going to be dismissed from the ranks of TBR.
Forums
No member of TBR except the CEO will make any form of official statement on the official Eve-Online forums, or any forums. Trolling, smack-talking, flaming and general forum grief of a derogatory nature toward other forum users will also not be tolerated.
Voice Communications
· Voice communication over Discord is mandatory whenever you are in fleet.
· Nobody is allowed to record our voice comms without approval.
· A fleet commander will be appointed before combat and when in ‘BattleComms’, the FC will be the only one speaking without being asked to. Only speak up if you have urgent information to relay, or if you explode. Even then, keep it brief.
Out-of-Game Differences
· There will be no racism, prejudice or out-of-game hard-feelings toward any member of TBR due to their country of origin, profession, religion, sexual preference, or beliefs.
· There will be no disagreement or extensive discussions in a negative manner about the current out-of-game global political or moral climate.
· Light-hearted banter is permitted, however there is a line, and it will not be crossed. All TBR members will recognize that we play Eve together for fun and will not hold prejudice or bad feeling toward another member for any personal out-of-game attribute.
Participation
· Real life always comes first. If you are online, however, you are required to participate in Corp actions if they are running. Soloing is fun, but you should limit it to those occasions when there are no Corp fleets.
· If you are going to be inactive for longer periods due to RL issues, please inform the Corp.
Spoils of War
Fleet profits are shared equally among members.
Joining TBR
Flying our colours means that you have agreed to abide by our code of conduct and that you are aware of the penalty for failing to do so. Joining our family means committing to be a part of the corporation long-term. We are a pirate organization that operates in low-security space, and we are hostile towards neutrals. For freedom and profit.
