There's a great amount of disparity between the supposed appearances of the creature. Theories of the creature's appearance range from all kinds of sea creatures, from a massive fish to a massive eel to a massive octopus. The only true agreement is that it's massive.
The Cult Claim is obviously more of an ideal. The Reddit Sighting is the closest thing we have to evidence.
Additional evidence suggests the creature may not be as massive as previously predicted.
If this image truly depicts the creature, it appears to be quite small; however, this could just be due to a number of photographic factors that don't accurately capture the creature's visage.
