During the summer of 2020, the Portland Rose Festival parade was cancelled due the pandemic. The idea of a porch parade was promoted. We decided to decorate our porch with a Paris theme.

This began a series of temporary porch and yard displays that we put out every other month or so. In March of 2021, we decided to create a display in honor of Ireland for St. Patrick's Day. We had visited Ireland and Scotland back in 2016 and had incredible memories of the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland. We chose to create our own interpretation of the legend behind its creation.

We will bring it out every March (unless we don't 😉).
