Our research group advances environmental chemistry and technology to address challenges at the intersection of environmental health, sustainable agriculture, and resource sustainability. Our research is organized around three interconnected areas: understanding the fate, transport, and transformation of emerging contaminants; developing nano-enabled delivery systems for more efficient and sustainable agriculture; and investigating critical-mineral cycling and plant-assisted resource recovery. Across these areas, we integrate molecular- and nanoscale characterization, advanced analytical tools, and data-driven approaches to uncover fundamental environmental processes and translate that understanding into practical solutions.
