#27. Pin's "Flawless" Social Game - (BFDIA 1-5)
At the toe-end of BFDI, Pin was left alone with no friends. Her closest friend, Leafy had ran off with Dream Island and no means of contact. As for the other eighteen contestants. She was not doing the best job at not making enemies.
Bravo...
So following her abysmal performance. There was a audience vote to pick the cast of season 2. As the numbers came in, it became revealed that Pin would receive that second chance, Despite getting second to last place. The audience saw something in her, something special, and deserving of a second chance.
And thus, the audience of BFDI had set up the resultant storyline of Pin's redemption. Only there is one problem with that... she still can't make friends. Because you all probably know this; You can't teach a old dog new tricks.
Throughout the entire season of BFDI, all she does is dig herself into a deeper hole. But she still remains adamant on trying to make friends, to no avail. Pin became the local expert on how to NOT make friends. And just for that, I have written a manifesto based on Pin on the worst ways to make friends.
1. Don't take the hint
"Hey Pin, you should switch teams"
"You really need to switch, just go switch"
"But I don't want to switch"
"Hush"
"Switch, switch, switch"
"Okay, okay, I did the thing... please like me"
2. Go way too into detail of the physiology of Pins
"I got all sweaty!!!"
"Pins sweat ooze, not water"
"Okay, why am I still here, maybe Donut will be more hospitable"
3. Ouright say that everyone hates you
"Let's pick Teardrop!"
"Why her?"
"She's the only one who hasn't said she hates me"
"Picking Teardrop would at least mean I have someone to talk to"
4. Kidnap someone
"Your voice will be heard on this team"
5. Insult your "best friend"
"High five"
"That high five wasn't for you"
"Yeah, TD, everyone knows you aren't a real contestant"
6. Don't do this...
7. Go around stalking Bubble
"Hi"
"I'm still here"
8. Then become extra clingy
"Why wouldn't you want to hang around a person with no friends?"
9. Then throw your former friends under the bus and try to kill them
"I hate Leafy, you do too"
"Don't tell me what I like"
"Keep throwing!"
"Why isn't she dying?"
10. Kill the host
"Tee hee"
*Fling*
"Whoa"
Pencil: Wheeeee!
*thunk*
11. Become a white knight
"Admit it book, you are suppressing Ice Cube's rights, and should be ashamed of it"
"Ice Cube is a person too, you know"
"You should let her do what she wants instead of what you want"
"You are a filthy, unloving, self-absorbed, dirty little"
"No means no"
12. Keep a secret from your closest ally
"So you just found the moneybag on the ground?"
"Actually I would like to say that"
"STFU"
And that's officially the last social thing Pin does until the series was indefinitely cancelled. So lets do a tally of how many friends and enemies she currently has.
Friends: Coiny
Enemies: Donut, Tennis Ball, Teardop, Bomby, Needle, Ice Cube, Gelatin, Puffball, Pencil, Match, Bubble, Book, Ruby, Spongy, Bomby, Nickel, Yellow Face, Golf Ball, Fries, Leafy, Firey, Rocky, Dora, Woody, Blocky, Snowball, Eraser, Pen, David, Flower.
Okay, so that is 1 friend, and 31 enemies.
This actually is an improvement from zero. So good job, Pin. Apparently your batshit strategy worked out. You gained one friend.
"I consider this an absolute win!"
Well not really, if this were a test, you would have gotten 3%, which is pretty much a fail. I would suggest you ask for advice from Coiny. Considering he's about the only person who will talk to you. Lets see what he has to say.
"Don't send death threats to people you don't like, that scares them"
"Don't eat your ooze, that's disgusting"
"Stop jumping through Donut's hole, Donut doesn't like that"
"Don't offer a homeless person a mint from your mouth. That's insulting to them"
"You can't do yoga with no limbs, it makes you look like a goob"
"Stop bragging to everyone that you destroyed the Eiffel tower, people liked that thing"
"Overweight people have feelings"
"This isn't the middle ages, not every project needs a human sacrifice"
"Stop telling us about your stupid screenplay, Golf Ball burned it for a reason"
"Stop intentionally scaring Woody, you are breaking his brain, that is a bad thing"
"Stop comparing BFDI to Survivor, that show is for old people"
Okay so Coiny was a little ruthless there, but what can you expect? Pin was probably the biggest outcast there could have been on the show. A true social pariah. Even contestants like Woody and Rocky gained the sympathy of their peers. But not Pin, she was on the outside looking in for the entire duration of BFDIA. And even when she does start to make friends, she has some of the most creative methods ever of screwing them up. With almost no friends to speak of, we have found the world's ultimate dodgeball target.
