Writer and director, Philp Riley, chose to break the norms of the Sidney Poitier New American Film School and create a stop-motion animation short. To achieve credit in the senior capstone course at ASU's film school, he and many other students worked together to achieve the challenge and wonder of stop-motion. The Fox has also been created through the help of students from ASU's W.P. Carey School of Business and The Design School (Architectural Studies).
