RFS is distributed in two packages:
RFS Engine
RFS Data Pack
RFS engine is the executable and must be installed before to install RFS data pack
Then you can download RFS_Data.zip file, copy it in your "<MyDocuments>" folder and unzip it (see the note below about the folder structure). You are ready to go.
Important notes: if you want to use FIFA 16, you have to launch RFS in administrator mode. RFS and standard FIFA 16 cannot work together on the same folder, it is recommended that you make a backup of your current FIFA 16 folder, before to install RFS.

GENERIC FIFA \ FC TOOLS
This section contains tools originally developed for FIFA 16, they are not specific for RFS and their usage may conflict with RFS itself. Nevertheless, if you still like to play FIFA 16 in its original form, or you are an expert editor and you want to modify the FIFA version used by RFS, you can use these tools for modding.
DB Master 24.0D The last stable version of DB Master. It has the feature to patch the database so that names with special characters are saved properly (the original DB supports only a limited set of accented characters); use the menu "Tools\ Save and Patch Player Names". You need to do this only once, then the saved database will preserve this feature and you can use the standard Save button or menu.
Creation Master 16 Release 3.4 The last stable version of the popular CM16.
Problem fixed:
International and Domestic team prestige range between 0-20
Crash when importing players from transfermrkt with some missed data in the page
Inaccurate calculus of overall for central midfielders
RX3 Master 25.0 is a simple tool that allows to export\import images from\to an RX3 file (please be aware that it works only with images and not with 3D models)
✨Ultimate EA DB Master 26.02 is the refresh of the well known RDBM but it is now built as a "game independent" tool, it is able to edit any career, squad or tournament file of both FIFA and FC series. You simply have to provide first the main database of the game, then you can open any of the files saved by the game itself. Run it in administrator mode. (updated Feb 25, 2026)
