WHY FOAM?

It's complicated.....

While it sounds fun..... for pools deeper than 4ft....

NO! NO! NO! NO! (pools deeper than 4ft are an absolute negative) As cool as it sounds, It is actually EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to fill your pool with foam.

Your guests could go under water and when they surface take a deep breath and inhale foam... which is liquid and become disoriented or panic and worse, drown. *there are some possibilities for wading pools, adult only parties and clubs- inquire about your event. Some waivers may be needed, but shallow pool options are possible.

Don't bury your guests alive. A guest could be unable to see where you are going in the pool.

They could hit their head or face on the sides or someone could drown and no one would even be able to see any one struggling. The obstructed view means children can get lost, bump their head, bump into each other, or not be able to get a good breath after coming up from under water. No children's parties will be permitted to put foam in the pool.

Your guests could go under water and when they surface take a deep breath and inhale foam... which is liquid and drown. 🛑Our insurance will not allow us to fill a swimming pool with Foam, so the answer is absolutely NO. 🛑

Your insurance would see you liable for any injuries or worse. The foam can also alter your pool's Ph balance and turn your pool green after a few days. This is NOT common, but it can happen. This occurs usually no more than a lot of people in your pool with lotions, but we want you aware of the possibility, The Foamy Gnome team is not liable for this. Yes, some foam and be in the pool a few clumps is pretty. Near a pool? Yes.

​That being said, some foam will inevitably make its way into the water when kids jump back and forth from pool to foam. That smaller amount is no biggie, and the foam won't harm your pool.​You can have a foam party near the swimming pool and if some foam goes in, it's OK we just will not fill the pool with Foam.

We can provide some fun toys or additional games for added fun as upgrades. You can also add some of our water toys for your pool if desired. Ask about BRUTO the BULL rental.

Our Foam Machine alone can fill up an area of up to 25x25 ft.

The foam works best on turf or grass but it can also work on driveways, parking lots or closed-off roads.

Dirt or gravel works but can get messy.

For bigger events like Festivals, large company picnics, or fairs, we can provide a customized package to fit the needs and branding. We can also do multiple foam machines for attendees 75 and up.

We recommend that you wear light, comfortable clothing such as swimwear/bathing suits or a t-shirt and shorts.

Running through the foam will leave you damp and will dry off in the sun. But swimsuits are suitable for kids and adults who will be in the foam for longer periods. DO wear appropriate shoes! FLip flops tend to slip ...not a good choice.

And goggles are best for kids who choose to play or sit inside the foam pile. Having a towel nearby to wipe yourself off after exiting the foam is also helpful.

Bring a towel to dry off. Some times we get a little crazy with the water hose or sprinkler!

CLOTHING DON'TS:

Don’t wear wool. Don't wear your fancy outfits.

Leather and dry-clean-only fabric are a bad idea along with flip flops.

ELECTRONICS: If you insist on having cell phones and cameras, then a Ziplock baggie or dry bag or phone case is a great idea! JEWELRY: Any jewelry that you are worried about, do NOT wear it.

Mother nature can be unpredictable and it isn't in anyone's control, however our business is still a business and we plan our event calendar months out. We pray the weather and universe is on your side for your event and we are blessed with amazing weather.

We will honor a rescheduling 1x 72 hours before your event date due to weather. We will reschedule free of charge within 2 months of your event date. Dates are subject to availability. If your date is unavailable or you need to reschedule farther out than 2 months, you can for a $50 fee.

If you have to reschedule a second time, there will be a $100 NR rescheduling fee. 1. If we arrive and it's raining, we will wait it out for 30 minutes. If it is still raining at 30 minutes, we will have to postpone and re-schedule, If we have to reschedule because of rain while at your location or on our way to your location, we charge $100 to cover the time it took for staff and travel to your event. The remaining balance will be applied to your next party. 2. If it starts to rain after we have already set up, We will wait it out for 30 minutes. If it is still raining at 30 minutes, we will charge $150 and apply the remanding balance to reschedule for another date within 60 days.

If it starts to rain after we have been blowing foam for 30 minutes we will wait it out for 30 minutes, if the rain does not stop, We must leave. You will not get any refund however, we will give you $50 off your NEXT FOAMY GNOME PARTY. If it is a very light rain (sprinkle Mist) we are good to go and the party will continue unless there is lightning.

LIGHTNING: Our equipment has lots of metal. If there is ANY lightening within 5 mile radius we must pack up, for safety reasons of our Foamy Gnome team and your guests. We schedule parties back to back with enough time for travel, set-up/clean-up, and 30 minutes in case of rain, WE CAN NOT wait longer than 30 minutes for a rain delay. It may be raining at your location but could be nice and sunny at the next party's location, so we have to leave ON TIME to arrive to our next party on time.

WIND: Our tents, barricades and equipment cannot withstand winds higher than 25 mph. Our Foamy Gnome has the discretion to not set up tents, tables, tripods, flags or barricades in high winds. If they can keep the unit up and running, they will. The foam will blow all over and your foam zone will be compromised anyway.

You sure can! Running through foam may leave you damp and you can easily dry off in the sun. Playing in the foam pile for longer will get you wet. Sometimes a sprinkler add or water feature is included and yes, you may get WET!

Great Idea...

.....YES AND NO. There are many types of "parks". County parks, city parks and state parks, each have a different sets of rules and regulations. You will need to ask the park you are thinking in having your Foamy Gnome party at if they would allow your party to happen. We are insured. So it is very important that you ask them first. If we get to a park and we are not allowed in, or are told to leave while doing a Foam Party by the park staff, we will have to do so, and there will be no refund given. Things you need to know. • You must first ask the park if they will allow it. (We can provide Proof of insurance) • You need to make sure there is a working water Spicket nearby within 50 ft (additional hose can be provided for additional fees) and that we are allowed to use that water. • You need to make sure there is a Working power outlet nearby at least 50ft away (a generator can be added for additional fee) and that we are allowed to use that outlet.

• Provide a contact name and number for the location in case we have logistics questions. NOTE: Sometimes between the blowers, water pump, speakers etc, we can pop a breaker and will need to reset it. We cannot share a power outlet with a DJ or other vendor.

• At a park we wont have access to the breaker box and usually on weekends its really hard to find a park ranger. I could happen that 20 minutes into the party the breaker popped and we are unable to turn the power back on and the foam party will be over. This could happen to you and there will be NO refund do to this happening. ALSO, if you do not get permission from the park and they shut us down because the foam is not allowed, there will be NO REFUNDS. Just be sure to have permission wherever the foam zone will be.

There will be NO REFUNDS or RESCHEDULING do to power outlets or water spickets not working. These are not in our control. Please make sure all of this works before the foamy gnome team arrives.

1 hr parties use approximately _100__ gallons of water

2 hr parties @ 150 gallons

Cancellations longer than 45 days prior to event date will only forfeit their NR booking fee.

Payments are due 30 days prior to event date to hold your calendar spot, a 50% refund will be returned if you cancel 20-29 days prior to event date. Anything 19 days or less to event date will forfeit their party fee.

The Foamy Gnome has curated several awesome playlists for Foam Party Success.

Some of our clients do not want music as they have their own DJ or audio entertainment... this is why we have added the music option as an enhancement to keep standard prices more budget friendly. You can add our music service for $55. It will include one of our Foamy Gnome Party speakers and our party music mixes.

Our music is edited together into a one hour segment that can include announcements and the songs are mixed together so there is no downtime in between songs if you want us to change the playlist or add some of your own songs. Yes we can for a $125 fee as we must search the songs, download the songs, edit the songs into our format and that takes a time.

We get compliments on our music, so please trust us when we say we keep the party at high energy.

Yes, you can use your own playlist. In our experience, no matter how good you think your playlist is, and it may be, remember an hour goes fast! Each song is playing for over five minutes and you have spaces in between songs or sometimes you use your Spotify and commercials come up it's just not the optimal experience for your guests :) That said, yes we can create a mix using the songs you request for $175.

We recommend using our music lists. Just let us know what the party is celebrating and what the main party guests are like. We will make it fun!

The foam solution and foam itself will not harm your grass. However, remember kids running around can cause some wear or a bit of mud from hanging out and playing in one place. It's no worse than any other wet lawn activity like slip-n-slides, playing in the sprinkler, etc. We do recommend hosing down any dried up bubble residue as desired. 

Surprisingly, the foam doesn't get very slippery!

Concrete, asphalt, and gravel are the least slippery.

Grass and turf can get slick, but it hasn't been an issue.

We CANNOT make the foam zone on high-gloss surfaces like tile or painted concrete.

The Foamy Gnome says, If you have a lot of kids like at a school or camp, its best to break down the time into groups.

we recommend not having more than 20 kids per group in the foam. the more kids you have in the foam at the same time, the harder it is for the foam to build up.

Example: 

1 Hour Party    2 groups at 30 minutes

or

3 groups at 20 minutes

(Please have the groups on stand-by and ready to go so that our attendants are not waiting for too long between groups. If your booking time is from 1pm - 2pm we MUST leave at 2pm because we may have another party after yours. We cant wait 10 minutes in between groups. they need to start Back to back we can also set 5 min between groups do 15 min each group 3 groups. )

The Foamy Gnome recommends no more than 25-30 kids. The more kids that play in the foam at the same time, the harder it is for the foam to build up. If you are a school or camp. its best to break up the time into 30 minutes and have 2 groups of kids or do 3 groups of 20 minutes. You can also have more than one Foamy Gnome Cannon for larger groups.

Adults - we recommend 10-20 adults in the foam zone at a time but they will move in and out as they desire.

For a larger foam zone you can add a foam cannon!

The Foamy Gnome can create colored foam to fit your theme or brand colors. Try a rainbow party or GLOW party. Our glow solution can stain clothing, but it has always come out in the wash. Additional fees apply for these service additions.
