To ensure your online hypnotherapy session runs smoothly and effectively, please follow these important guidelines. By preparing your environment and technology correctly, you create a supportive and distraction-free space for your healing journey.
Set up your camera at an angle that ensures clear and consistent visibility.
The therapist should be able to see your face, upper body, and ideally the space where you’ll be lying down (bed/recliner).
Keep the camera steady, at eye level or slightly above.
Test the setup in advance to ensure visibility even when you recline.
Use high-quality headphones/earphones with a clear microphone.
Avoid poor sound devices or laptop speakers.
Test your microphone beforehand to ensure clarity without background noise.
Connect to a stable Wi-Fi network.
Avoid mobile data connections as they may cause lag or disconnection.
Test your internet connection in advance to ensure smooth video and audio.
Choose a quiet, private room where no one else will enter.
Inform household members not to disturb you.
Turn off notifications, doorbells, and other distractions.
Use a recliner, bed, or supportive surface where you can fully relax.
Ensure the camera remains focused on you while lying down.
Test your setup so the camera doesn’t shift when you recline.
Make sure pets, children, or outside noise do not disturb you.
Put your phone on silent (unless it is being used for the session).
Inform family members that you need undisturbed time.
Test your setup: Camera, microphone, and Wi-Fi should be checked before the session.
Prepare yourself: Be well-rested, eat lightly, and enter the session in a calm, relaxed state of mind.
⚠️ Note: In case the therapist faces persistent video/audio issues from your side, the session may be cancelled or rescheduled.
