Josh Merz - drums/vocals
Sebastian Lindon - guitar/vocals
Evelyn Torstenson - bass/vocals
Formed in 2021 by Josh Merz (drums/vocals) and Sebastian Lindon (guitars/vocals) in the band rooms of UAH. Later adding Evelyn Torstenson, this pop-punk trio has crept and clawed their way into the North Alabama music scene. Their music captures a feeling of elation and reprieve from the ever crazier, more uncertain world we live in, taking inspiration from Blink-182 and Fall Out Boy as well as modern favorites such as Peach Pit and Backseat Lovers.
The band began to truly take off (Rocket City pun intended) when Evelyn Torstenson (bass/vocals) joined the lineup, bringing her voice and unmistakable aura to the group. Determined and reformed after a months-long slump, the band began booking at North Alabama bars, on UAH's campus, and in Josh’s backyard/basement, from which they began cultivating a DIY scene in Huntsville.
Inspired by their recent momentum, releasing 3 singles with an album on the way, the band saw an explosive 2025. The ladies were booked for Huntsville's annual Porch Fest and took the stage...no...porch with glee. Later that year, the band was approached by Danny, the founder of Tangled Strings Fest, and were asked to play as local openers to the festival.
With our upcoming album, we hope to bring some of the ridiculousness we began with Teddy, as well as explore the darker side of this modern society from which we escape through our music. It’s never been just about performing; it’s about being together, being true to themselves, and about our shared love of music and the community around it. We might not be going anywhere, but, honestly, we're fine with that as long as you're going there with us.
