Happy Mother’s Day to all moms!
We celebrated mothers at service today with carnations for all. To follow tradition, we honored the oldest (Shirley Epling) and the youngest (Brittany Helvey) mothers in our congregation.
We had a great time this evening eating our Taco/Nacho bar, watching "God’s Not Dead: We the People" and popcorn.
Thank you to all who were able to come and helped!
Our community Easter Egg Hunt was a HIT! A wonderful time had by all. Thank you to everyone who came out today - we hope you left knowing the gospel, with a full belly and of course, TON of candy filled eggs!
Also, thank you everyone who helped and the United Methodist Church of Rich Creek for always partnering with us to make this annual event happen!
Our Rich Creek Community Good Friday Service had an amazing turnout. It was so great being able to come together once again after the past two years.
We enjoyed a time of worship and special music. Then, Pastor Jerry Hagerman presented us the gospel through a monologue titled “Through the Eyes of Peter.” He did such a wonderful job.
Remember, Sunday is coming…
We had an AWESOME turnout for our Corn Hole Tournament and Chili Cook Off. It was such a great time of fellowship. 13 Chili Entries & 14 Corn Hole Teams!!!! Congratulations to our Corn Hole Tournament & Chili Cook Off winners! Thank you to all who provided food, set up & cleaned up and who just came! We are so blessed to have a wonderful church family.
We had a great study with our older youth and then watched the LA Rams and Cincinnati Bengals fight to be 2022 Super Bowl Champions.
We had a great time with some of our older youth and few of their friends tonight watching the Hokies get their first ACC win. It was a great time of fellowship together. We are thankful for these kids! Everyone was excited to make it on the jumbotron too! We missed those that couldn't be with us.
Our youth took a trip to Dollar Tree and Walmart to gather items for our Blessing Bags Project. We gathered personal hygiene items, food, and warm clothing to provide for children in need. The younger children went to Dollar Tree with Tasha and Megan Smith to gather items for younger children. The older children went to Walmart with Scarlett Shirey to gather items for older children. This was a wonderful, fun way to teach our youth to give back to those in need, to love thy neighbor.

We enjoyed an outstanding dinner provided by KC Catering. Afterwards, we were visited by a special guest. This was a wonderful time of fellowship with our church family.
Our youth performed a Live Nativity! We also handed out craft bags from our church and Pastor Kevin presented a special message.
Tasha Smith, Scarlett Shirey and Megan Smith decorated their vehicles for Trunk or Treat. We had a great time handing out candy from our church and spreading the Good News!
We had a great time in Ballard, West Virginia with our youth group at Sunset View Farms.
We had a great opportunity for Kevin to share a message with the NHS football team along with providing a meal for them this evening. Good luck tomorrow BIG GREEN! Thank you church for the donations and volunteers. It's much appreciated.
