The Feminine Project was founded by Morgan Christensen and Molly Schneider in 2017. The project was started after noticing that homeless shelters list feminine products as an immediate need. Menstrual supplies are commonly overlooked by people when donating and are not covered by government aid.
The Feminine Project aims to provide feminine products to women and teens in Green Bay and empower women to their femininity. Another goal is to make the topic of menstrual supplies something women can talk about and not be embarrassed to ask for.
For homeless women, days on their period can be the hardest when it should be a time to embrace their femininity. Without sanitary supplies women risk discomfort and infection. The cost of menstrual supplies for a year is $70 and any money donated will be used to buy products for homeless women and teens. By donating $7 you can cover the cost of supplies for 1 month! The feminine products will be distributed through Green Bay homeless shelters. Anything you can give is greatly appreciated and we thank you for the support.
