Born Imani Noel Williams, from Chicago, Illinois, Renaissance loves to fill her life with magic.

Early life

Renaissance always had a passion for singing. This passion lead her up the path to Theater in her early childhood to teenage years. In theater, She was able to receive her first Major role at 13 in Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe as The White Witch.

From there her passion spread to highschool, where she was apart of the multiple choirs including Her church Choir, School Choir, Acapella , & Liturgical Choir for four years. She, Also, Participated in a Musical each year, Theater Elective, & Thespians Club. During her time in Thespians, She was able to see a musical called “Beautiful”, which was the story of Carole King.

That night in the Upstage corner she saw the most beautiful Performance of A representation of the Supremes. Seeing this, Renaissance cried because she knew what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. It was exciting & terrifying because all she had heard of was the “broke artist lifestyle” not knowing this would be the beginning to her story as TheeRenaissanceGirl LLC.

Starting her first business called makeupbyimani at the age of 16, then her second business as a hair distributor at 19, Renaissance had an Entrepreneur streak. She loved makeup, hair, fashion just as much as her passion with Singing, dancing,& acting.

Being selected for the Music Theater major, she began her journey in College.

Renaissance was able to obtain four years of vigorous training in Music, Theater, Dance, & assortment of skills such as piano, audition tech, vocal lessons, & modeling.

In 2020, when the pandemic happened, Renaissance was able to pave her way into the social media industry with her knowledge of Music Theater and Performance. Her first post on TikTok, where she choreographed a dance to Savage by Megan Thee Stallion, received over 200k views. This gave Renaissance the sign to start taking Content “seriously” or as she likes to say “magically”.

From 2020 on, Renaissance can only describe her life as magical opportunities that lead her to creation, imagination & love.

Now She combines both of her passions to create full on concepts for in person & online audiences. Her passion does not stop there, it opens up to Teaching, Choreographing, Influencing, Directing, & Representing for the People who love Creativity.

This website, TheeRenaissacneGirl, is magic. It all came from the imagination of a young girl from the southside of Chicago who loved to sing & ended up becoming a legacy of her believing in herself. Renaissance wants to spread that message to all the creatives, all the “misunderstood” & all the believers of themselves.
