Founder/Owner

Lisa Mahabir enjoys helping students develop their potential as far as possible across all domains (academic, social, emotional, physical). She has been able to uniquely connect with students over the years and create a rapport that communicates safety and concern for students' well-being. This allows students the freedom to explore activities, socialising etc. without fear in the after-school programme. Students usually make quick gains at The Enrichment Academy as a result. Her lesson planning, activity development and the programme in general are informed by her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Masters in Educational Psychology, years as a teacher and administrator.

The Enrichment Academy

We are pleased to have served many families for over a decade as one of the first academies and after-school programmes in the country!

The Enrichment Academy was created in order to meet the needs of students who were expected to be both creative and critical thinkers but were not afforded opportunities to develop these skills in the classroom.

It was created to be part of a short-term and long-term solution to the problems that plague our country by allowing each of our students to succeed no matter the challenges they may face. Our students always have options!

It is a safe learning space designed to meet the needs of families in the after-school period.

We aim to Enrich the lives of our students daily allowing them to become dynamic, high achieving members of society.
