RATES: Flat rate per fireplace $200. After hours and Saturdays are an additional $25 per fireplace. Multi-sided fireplaces: first glass cleaning is covered, additional glass is $25 each. Christmas Eve: $300 per fireplace no discounts. Some labor rate exceptions do apply for unusually labor intensive jobs, I will let you know before starting.

DISCOUNTS OFFERED PER FIREPLACE: Senior, Military, Widow, Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, repeat customers. $20 for one discount, $30 for two or more qualifying discounts.

Off-Season (April – September) and Annual discounts are additional $20 each.

PARTS: At cost plus 10%, I will show you my cost if asked

WARRANTY: Normal service call 6 months labor and parts. Annual Service 12 months labor 6 months parts

TRAVEL: Outside my normal service area $1 per mile round trip. I am based out of Caldwell, I will drive anywhere for work but gas is expensive, my time has value, and my truck will out drink a frat house.

STANDARD SERVICE CALL INCLUDES: Cleaning: glass, fireplace, burner, pilot assembly. Inspection: safety checks, gas leak /carbon monoxide test, flue, glass seals, and visual inspection. Repairs: replace valves, pilot assemblies, seals, gas leak repairs, adjustments, switches and new embers. I will take off my shoes at the entrance and put down lots of drop clothes. I don’t leave a mess for you to clean up after. Oh, if you have pups, I will take a few minutes to meet and greet them.

   I am a licensed, bonded, insured, certified contractor, with over 10 yrs experience. Probably certifiable too, since I do get paid to play with fire for a living. Now that the boring stuff is covered, greetings from Brian “Thee” fireplace guy. I fully acknowledge there are fancier websites. There are skills I don’t have: building websites, dancing, gardening, using chopsticks and drywall. But there a few things I am really great at: homemade sliders, BLTs, tuning old motorcycles and servicing Gas fireplaces.

   I don’t have a doorbell fee, if I don’t fix it you don’t pay. I took the job believing I could do it, you should be responsible to pay me for not getting it done. Nor do I charge multiple labor charges if I have to come back for additional work or warranty, the Labor is covered by the original flat rate. I am there to service and repair your fireplace for honest wages, not find ways to drive up my profit margins with dishonest business tactics: Honest work for Honest pay, I respect the hard work time you put in for your money.

   About me, well if you are still reading you are either a little bored or curious. I am a devout Christian, proud dad of 3 daughters, Grumpa to “Bubs”, retired Air Force, coffee addict, who recently relocated to Idaho (from Kansas) to be with my amazing wife. I brought with me; my hyperactive German Sheppard Max, an old Harley Davidson, a love for outdoors and camping. One of my Idaho goals is to find the best “hole in the wall” “Ma and Pa” small town Burger joints. My work ethic comes from my faith Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work heartily as for the lord, you are serving the Lord Christ” and from my father “Hardwork has never shamed any man, but I have seen many a man shame work”
