Practice problem solving with essential math skills.
Create interactive math lessons focused on formulas, variables, and problem-solving. Students can practice solving automatically generated questions based on the formulas you provide.
Before creating any lesson type in EduExtend, you must first complete the Information Section. This helps organize your content, improve discoverability, and manage how your materials are shared within the platform.
Start building your arithmetic lesson by defining how calculations will work:
Set the number of decimal places for answers (0, 1, or 2)
Add variables
• Symbol (e.g., v, d, t)
• Description
• Minimum and maximum values
• Unit of measurement
Add formulas
• Choose the variable to solve
• Input the formula expression
Example:
v = d / t
d = v × t
t = d / v
These formulas will be used to automatically generate practice problems
Once your lesson is created, the system automatically generates learning activities:
Title Slide – Displays the lesson title for introduction or transition
Present – Shows automatically generated math problems based on your formulas
Multiple Choice – Students select the correct computed answer
Fill in the Blanks – Students solve for missing variable values
Adding more variables and formulas generates more practice questions
Always use consistent units to avoid calculation errors
Test formulas with sample values before publishing to ensure accuracy
