Welcome to the County of Galatia! (GA-LA-TEA-AH – High Elyrian) aka (GA-LAY-SHE-AH – Common Elyrian). Here in Galatia we strive to be well rounded and excel in many facets. We desire a strong military presence to protect not only our County, but to assist the defense of the Duchy of Highever and the Kingdom of Riftwood in times of war. We desire a thriving economy with room for everyone depending on their trade. We seek to extract and refine resources as well as increase trade both within the County and outside the County. We desire to attract education and health organizations to see to the well being of our citizens and visitors alike. The County of Galatia is also a friend of the arts, be it painting, sculpting, writers, singers and actors, we implore those seeking to excel in the arts to call our County home. Regardless of what path you desire to follow, you have a home in the County of Galatia. Currently we are seeking to populate our County with those skilled and a desire to serve the County/Duchy goals with people interested in starting up County Sanctioned Orders/Guilds which include but are not limited to the following: Harvesters, Crafters, Merchants, Researchers, Teachers/Professors, Doctors/Nurses and other medical practitioners whether it be in a hospital style setting or a naturalist using resources from the environment, painters, sculptors, writers, singers and actors.
Order of Highguard:
This order is more civil in nature than the military branch. However, we expect this order to be fiercely loyal to House Highguard and the County of Galatia. Only the most loyal and men and women of integrity are welcomed into this order to provide security to House Highguard, Highguard (County Seat) and Galatia as a whole. Security Council: This Council may consist of the Duke/Duchess, Count/Countess, Baron/Baroness, Mayor/Mayoress, and the common folk depending on their achievements and dedication to the County. They are responsible to ensure the Security of the County whether it be from invading forces, common criminals or any other influence or threat that may disturb our enrichment of society. Once our settlement location is selected, other guilds/orders may seem more necessary dependent on our geography. Ie, if we are in the Mountains or next to the Sea or a lake. .etc.
