Besides working on our vocal abilities and ensemble skills, we also perform locally at Nursing Homes and town events.
The Dotted Half Notes practice, refine, and grow every year with new members, old members, and some returning members. All girls (K-12) are welcome to join. It builds confidence, leadership, cooperation, empathy, and joy. The group recently enhanced to include adult women to participate in local performances and Disney.
Singing strengthens healthy self-esteem while making connections between women of all ages. We laugh, we try, succeed together in spite of our differences. We are truly a diverse group!
Teresa Peters formed the Dotted Half Notes for her Gold Award in 2010. Emily Peters, as part of her Gold Award, took the Dotted Half Notes Global when they performed in Disney in 2017.
We are still going strong today.
The Dotted Half Notes rehearse bi-monthly at the Rock Hill GS Camp in Mahopac. NY.
