Founded in 1983, The Door Christian Fellowship Church San Antonio, is part of Christian Fellowship Ministries.
Christian Fellowship Ministries was founded in 1970 by the late Pastor Wayman Mitchell in Prescott, Arizona with the simple vision of evangelism, discipleship and church planting.
Today, through God’s grace and a faithfulness to keep that vision, Christian Fellowship Ministries now has over 4000 churches planted in most nations around the world.
Our local church is a product of that vision and is a part of a larger move of God that’s reaching the world for Jesus Christ in these Last Days.
Pastor Les Snodgrass was saved by the Lord on May 21,1988 and sent to pioneer his first church in Kingsville Texas on March 5, 1993. Since then, he and his wife Marie have pastored churches in Cheyenne Wyoming, Victoria Texas, San Angelo Texas, Melbourne Florida, SW San Antonio and as missionaries to Varna Bulgaria.
In 2015 while in Melbourne Florida, Les and his family were the victims of an attempted armed robbery during a Sunday morning church service. Please see the following news links for the complete story:

Despite the many challenges of life, God has been faithful to help us do His work wherever He leads us.
We are honored and grateful that He has led us to this beautiful city of Lufkin to complete what He called us to do 20 years ago. Unfortunately though, that was the same year that Hurricane Ike severely flooded Lufkin so we accepted a church pastorate in Victoria Texas instead.
Our God is faithful to complete what He begins, and He has once again opened a great and effectual door for us to return to Lufkin and fulfill HIs call.
There is only one God, and that He is eternally existent in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God the Father is the Creater of the universe. He created man in His own image for fellowship and called man back to Himself through Christ after the rebellion and fall of man.
Jesus Christ is eternally God. He was together with the Father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning, and through Him all things were made.
The Holy Spirit is God, the Lord, and giver of life, who was active in the Old Testament, and given to the Church in fullness at Pentecost.
The baptism in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues, subsequent to conversion, releases the fullness of the Spirit and is evidenced by the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
The Bible containing the Old and New Testament is alone the only infallible, inspired Word of God, and that its authority is ultimate, final, and eternal. It cannot be added to, subtracted from, or superseded in any regard.
Christ's vicarious death on the cross paid the penalty for the sins of the whole world. Its benefits of healing are provided for in the atonement as well.
Salvation is a free gift of God, based on the merits of the death of His Son, and is appropriated by faith. Salvation is affected by person repentance, belief in the Lord Jesus, and personal acceptance of Him into one's life as Lord and Savior.
The Christian life is to be one of consecration, devotion, and holiness. The shortcomings of the individual are because of the still progressing sanctification of the believer.
The Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God among the saints through the Spirit. Every believer born of the Spirit has a place in the church designated by God.
Baptism is the outward sign of what God has already done in the individual's life and is a public testimony that the person now belongs to Christ and His church.
The Scriptures prophecy of a bodily, personal, second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the saints, and the final judgement of all humanity.
If you want to have your sins forgiven and make heaven your home, you can pray this simple prayer:
Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner in need of forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross and rose from death to give me eternal life. I ask that You forgive my sins and come into my heart to be my Lord and Savior. I give my life to You, and I thank You for the gift of salvation. In Jesus' name, amen.
