May 2024: We are pleased to welcome Joshua Anyim to the Do group for his summer research under Wideman scholarship. Joshua will work on Green oxidation of C-H bonds and green synthesis of heterocyclic molecules. Welcome to the Do group, Joshua!

April 2024: Alongside our two "veterans," Michael Disilvestro and Jillian Aylsworth, the Do Group is excited to welcome three new members this year: Joshua Aynyim, Jasmine Franklin, and Jing-Kai Rutland! Joshua will start his research under SURE program/Wideman scholarship this summer while Jasmine and Jing-Kai will join the group in the Fall. Welcome to the Do group, folks! 

April 4th, 2024:  Isaiah Allgeyer presented his research at the Southern Regional Honors Conference, in Jacksonville, Florida. Congrats Isaiah!

April 1st, 2024: Great news! The  Do group was awarded the Faculty Summer 2024 Provost Research Grant for our project titled “Green synthesis of potential biological active heterocyclic molecules”. 

March 24th, 2024: Isaiah Allgeyer presented his research at the Citadel Academy of Science and Mathematics Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony. Congrats Isaiah!

December 15th, 2023: Great news, our proposal “Green oxidation of C-H bonds: A conceptual blueprint for an alternative utilization of methane and fossil fuels” has been selected for a 2023-24 Climatological Research Studies Grant!

October 14th, 2023: Michael Disivestro presented his research at the SoCon Undergraduate Research Forum (SURF) at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Congrats Michael!

September 5th, 2023: We welcomed three juniors, Cole England, John Banner, Jillian Aylsworth and a senior Isaiah Allgeyer, joining the lab to do research with Dr. Do this semester. Welcome to the Do group!

August 17th: Dr. Do presented a research talk at the 5th Asia Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences at Hochiminh city, Vietnam.

July 2023: Savanah finished her summer research at the Do group. Best wishes for your future path, Savannah!

May 15th, 2023: We're excited to welcome our first cadets, Savannah Fisher and Michael Disilvestro,  joining the Do group for their summer research.  

Savanah's research will be funded by Wideman scholarship and Michael's will be funded by The Citadel SURE program (The Citadel Summer Undergraduate Research Experience). Congrats Savanah and Michael!
