“Board & Train” means that a dog is trained by Anisha while staying at the facility. The duration of the stay is dependent on the duration of the training program.
The board & train is located in Amlidih, Raipur.
The ‘Board & Train’ program acts as a reset for a dog’s mindset and strengthens the relationship between the dog and its owner. It provides exposure to various environments and stimuli, which contributes to building the dog’s confidence. This program is cost-effective in terms of both time and money, making it suitable for dogs with behavior issues. During ‘Board & Train,’ we dedicate the entire day to focused and efficient training
All our training programs cover different aspects & levels of training. The first step is to get a one on one consultation which will be conducted at our facility. Our first objective will be to understand your dog and get a clear understanding of your goals with your dog.
Once the consultation is done, based on the duration of the programme and the availability of a next slot, we will give you a slot for your dog's training programme. As a training facility that has limited capacity we cannot guarantee the time it will take between the consultation and the training program to start. Once the program dates are finalized you will have to complete the necessary formalities after which your dog's training program commences. Next we lay down a solid foundation of acceptable and unacceptable behaviors and Obedience.
Finally we move on to train you to, to be able to maintain the training and to create a realistic training plan you can easily integrate to your day to day routine. We achieve this by empowering you with all the the knowledge, tools and techniques you need to help your dog become the best version of themselves. Once your dog's training is nearing completion, all pet owners must come to facility for Handover Sessions, for effective transfer of training.
On your dog's last day, we will come to your house for one final session (if located in Ranchi) We will provide you with a detailed go home program (comprising of their daily routine & all the commands that they have learnt) for when your dog comes home.
Upon completion we are available on calls, messages and email for any help or guidance that you may need. We also offer boarding services and refresher course for our older students.
The main purpose of the in person consultation is to get a clear picture of the dogs personality and its environment in order to provide a proper diagnosis and program.
Due to the many variables involved to create a well-behaved, balanced dog, including owner commitment, consistency, and follow-through, it would be unethical for us to offer a 100% guarantee. However, we only choose the most dedicated and diligent owners so, in our experience, no matter how severe the issues, we consistently see breakthrough results and amazing transformations. We work hand in hand as a team in your dog’s rehabilitation. This process of teamwork and collaboration begins before we even meet your dog, moves through the training process, and continues long after your dog has gone home. Once you hire us, we consider you part of The Doggo-Dom family, and your success is our utmost priority.
Yes we will be happy to keep your dog with us. But since we have limited slots available, please get in touch with us as soon as your plans are finalized, we will inform you about the slots available and you can book the slot for your dog.
Unlike other training approaches that only focus on developing rehearsed behaviors, bribing with treats, or merely managing/bandaid-ing the problem, we have developed a unique approach that fundamentally changes the dog’s state of mind. Once we address the dog’s state of mind, the sky’s the limit for what we can create. By cultivating new habits, teaching the dog to make better choices, training calmness instead of excitability, and employing our unique duration work, we are consistently successful with dogs. Our major goal is to be the mediator between the dogs and their humans and guide them both in the right direction to understand, appreciate and grow together.
We completely understand your emotions. In our experience dogs go through an initial adjustment period to set into a new environment, new rules and a new routine. During this they are mentally and physically preoccupied with learning new behaviors and which keeps them busy and positively productive.
It will go against the concept of the board & train as the dog will never truly settle mentally into this learning environment. For a dog, each day at the Board & Train includes constant learning; however we can only ensure consistent implementation & progress with regular practice, which is not possible if a dog is picked up daily. Also its important that you understand that your visitation to the facility every now and then will be a huge distraction for your dog. Hence, we do not allow visitation and pick up / drop daily with regards to a Board & Train program.
All dogs can be trained. All you need is the willingness to change your old habits and be consistent. However, remembering to change old habits/behaviors may require extra effort if you and your dog have been practicing those habits for longer periods of time. As long as you’re willing to put in the work, we are here to help. Specific details can be further discussed during the consultation
At TDD all dogs are trained to sleep inside their crate. Our one on one training approach enables us to helps give every dog the time they need at the same time maintaining calm and composed environment. The morning starts with a long structured walk followed by 7-8 training sessions throughout the day which is more than enough for dogs to make significant, consistent progress without overwhelming them or burning them out. We do not allow free roaming or unsupervised interaction with people and other dogs. Most importantly, every moment of the day is training – this means crate behavior, thresholds, potty breaks, and every interaction are all a huge part of the overall training process, and why we’re so successful.
For a training program to see success, you are involved in the training from Day 1. We will send regular updates in the form of videos/calls throughout the program. These videos are for you and your family to study, before the handover Sessions. During these Handover Sessions, we work with families to teach all aspects of the dog’s training. At the end of the program, a routine and detailed Go Home Programme is provided as reference for all owners. The last session. i.e. Go Home Session, happens in the dog's familiar environment (At Home, if in Ranchi) where we will come home to help the dog settle into the house with new rules. 😀
