Who Are We?
We are a dedicated team of English teachers from various parts of the nation, each bringing their unique perspective and vibrant energy to English language instruction. From bustling cities to serene landscapes, our network of teachers represents the cultural and linguistic diversity that makes learning English a fascinating and enriching experience.
Carmen Mariel, from the golden city of Cotui: She is a passionate language educator with five years of experience, specializing in English and French. Her teaching philosophy revolves around making language learning enjoyable and precise.
Gilberto Andrés Abreu. He has been an English teacher for over 8 years at the Polytechnic Felipe Soriano Bello in the city of Constanza, teaching technical English in the specialties of administrative management, development of computer applications, and agriculture.
Santo V. Quiroz, from Constanza the highest and coldest city of the Dominican Republic. He studied at Centro Cultural Dominico Americano in Santiago and, he studied at Universidad Abierta Para Adultos, (UAPA), too. He has worked at Felipe Soriano Bello School for about 19 years, so he has vast experience in learning and teaching English. Reading is his favorite hobby.
Wils Pedro Hernández Geraldino is a person from San Francisco de Macoris, he studied Modern Language Mention Education and works at Pedro Francisco Bono school. He has been working in the public system for about 10 years, on his time off he spends time browsing English and French information because he believes in a good education.
Anyi Alt. Hernández Henríquez is from San Francisco de Macorís, she studied modern languages and works at Prof. Lorenzo Burgos Abreu school. Her teaching style is based on an enjoyable and dinamic language learning process, where students feel comfortable and free to be themselves and learn through their own pace.
This portfolio is designed to help you understand and use various teaching materials in English language classes. We'll cover electronic and computer resources, including visuals, audio, and videos. You'll learn to use multimedia applications made for language learning and explore specialized websites and virtual courses, whether they're free or paid.
We'll also teach you how to evaluate teaching materials based on their structure, feasibility, usefulness, impact on learning, complexity, and alignment with the subject matter. You'll be encouraged to use your creativity to create new teaching resources that suit your classroom needs.
By the end of the course, you'll be skilled in handling different teaching materials used in English classes and be able to assess their quality. This knowledge will empower you to develop new materials tailored to your classroom's requirements.

Tools for teaching English include the internet, laptops, speakers, books, students, teachers, crayons, whiteboards, colored pencils, chalk, paper, newspapers, scissors, glue, glitter, staplers, multimedia apps for writing and drawing, pictures, and videos.
