Breakfast and Lunch Available to Families
During the closure, our Nutrition Services Department will open twelve schools throughout the city where “Grab and Go” breakfast and lunch meals will be available for our students. Visit a site listed below.
Please bring a grocery bag or cooler to bring food home for the week.
Food is available to any child under 18.
Monday: 8:00-12:00 (3 breakfasts/3 lunches per student)
Thursday: 8:00-12:00 (2 breakfasts/2 lunches per student)
Northwest/West Oakland: Sankofa Elementary, West Oakland Middle School, La Escuelita, and Hoover Elementary
Central Oakland: Oakland High School and Garfield Elementary
East Oakland: Bret Harte Middle School, Life Academy/United for Success, Coliseum College Preparatory Academy, Castlemont High School, and Elmhurst United Middle School

Wifi Access Map
Locations on this map correspond with select OUSD school sites and they feature a WiFi network called OUSD Chromebook.
Signal strength has been turned up at these locations, and families can walk or drive up to one of the sites and connect.
This WiFi service is for those families who do not have a viable internet option at home or who just need to connect to a stable and robust wifi signal. OUSD Chromebooks will automatically connect to the network.
Please remember to be aware of your surroundings.
