The Detailer Guy story

I’m Esteban Gilmore Bernal, and in January 2020, I founded “The Detailer Guy.” 

What began as a small operation during a time of global uncertainty quickly became my lifeline. Like many, I faced the challenges of a worldwide pandemic after being laid off, but instead of succumbing to the struggle, I chose to channel my passion for cars into something greater.

Armed with a few tools and an unshakable drive, I started offering complete detailing services across Oahu, bringing the full experience right to my clients’ garages, carports, and driveways. My dedication and attention to detail paid off, and soon, word spread. The business grew, and it became clear that it was time to take the next step taking several certification polishing course in metal and paint work to achve higher levels of professionalism and improve on my craft.

That’s when “The Detailer Guy” evolved into “The Detailer Guys.” I began working with a team of professionals who shared my passion, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence. Together, we dedicated ourselves to more than just cleaning cars—we aimed to bring them back to life.

In August 2021, our pursuit of excellence led us to the Chemical Guys Master Class Certification Course at Detail Garage Hawaii in Pearl City, where I graduated with honors. This experience armed me with advanced knowledge and skills, pushing our services to new heights.

Today, I’ve detailed hundreds of vehicles and built a loyal base of VIP customers who trust me with their cars through my monthly maintenance valeting program. Each vehicle I work on is a testament to my journey—a journey that started with a passion and grew into a mission to deliver unparalleled detailing services.

For me, this isn’t just a detailing company; I’m a specialist driven by the same love for cars that got me started. And I’m always ready to help my customers rediscover the beauty of their vehicles.
