"The More"

    Sometimes we think, or hear; “It is not ‘fair’ of God to want more work from us to know Him"; since we have such a hard world to have to live in already. God should just come to us mystically and help us. (Nope… not robots!)  Or, there are some people unable to do for themselves, “They can’t read!”, “They are too poor!”, “It’s too hard!”, etc...; so why do we have to “press in”…. to know what He wants?  God is the answer. He made us to want to know.  He set us each; poor, rich, busy, bored, handicapped, sickly or obsessive; our OWN point of pressing in... with Him.  To choose willingly for His More.  To want to be who we were made to be, in this place, in this body, FOR this time.  Not to look to the world; but open ourselves to His touch of His knowing, that is always More than the ways of the world. To expect it, even when reading, when praying, when hurting,… whenever we need help… we must be open to God's answers.  Not in a judging mode, but a receiving openness of heart.  It is going to be more than you knew a moment ago.  And like the word study, it will change how you look at life from then on.  And, ONLY GOD can do THIS! 

      Life always stretches us, always asks more from us… no matter how low or high we feel.  Being satisfied with life has never been being always comfortable. Not rocking the boat is still a mask.  

We Are Those Preordained for the Mysteries of God

We crave the more from life; even if we feel we cannot satisfy that craving, we want more.  Starts over every day; every day we’re choosing how to spend our energies… what feels right.  

Efforts wear thin.  Now something more needs to carry us on, to have our back.  God does, but not till we choose Him first, For He has already chosen us. (James 4:8, Ephesians 1:4)

    By pressing into knowing the More of who we are in God (begins by knowing our God of His Word), we empower an e t e r n a l path.  Because we give our all for His More... every day.

Every day this choosing, grows our passions and dreams become fulfilled, more real.  To be what He knows we were made to be, is the journey that is 'our' perfection.  And the joy we receive reaches beyond what we’ve ever known before.  Only God can give this as what is truly real; it is that More we crave; that which will truly complete our lives  … May we all choose to live so!

When looking for God's next move, we look to HIS HOLY WORD.  His Word is the foundation for expanding our understanding of His ways.  Many places in scripture God encourages His people through His prophets.  The Prophet Isaiah relayed God's word to the people, to not slip backwards from their progress; not allow themselves to be broken, snared or lazy/distracted "as from 'strong drink' " (Isaiah 28) that leaves us going against the ways of  God;

Isaiah 28:9   "Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts."   

    This asks us, who will move forward with Truth, and with God; to move on from those first understandings we learned in life, to press into learning, teaching ourselves His deeper truth; it is what we can experience as true for ourselves; to know God in our lives and how He IS moving.

1 Corinthians 13:11  "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things." 

Isaiah 28:10 " For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:"    

    Life walking with God is tender and caring.  He loves to partner with us in our becoming, just as He designed us to be in this life.   He only waits for us to trust Him in knowing this.  God rejoices with us at every progression.  He will bring us to understanding IN HIM, this is freedom - to LIVE in truth, in this life, of HIS broad place... of HIS delight!   God delights in us!  

Psalm 18:19  "He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me."

    This is also the narrow path that only free will can partner with God, to hear and know truth in our own life, or else God would have made us robots!!   

Matthew 7:12-14   12 "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, 

do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. 

13  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, 

that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:   

14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, 

which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
