It's where there's the most... Fish!
It's where there's the most... Fish!
HIS Word is the foundation for expanding our understanding of HIS ways. Many places in scripture God encourages His people through His prophets. The Prophet Isaiah relayed God's word to the people; to not slip backwards from their progress; not allow themselves to be broken, snared or lazy/distracted "as if from 'strong drink'" (not just take another's fish); because this is that which would leave us going against the ways of God:

Isaiah 28:9 "Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts."
Who will move forward with Truth, and with God; to move on from those first understandings we learned in life, to His deeper truth. So WE have the relationship He calls us to.

2 Thessalonoans 3:10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
The hidden benefit of fishing - meat when you need it! And you earned it! You own it! Same goes for reading the Word of God, we can move from the milk to the meat of His word; and.. even enjoy the 'chew' of always having More every day!
1 Corinthians 13:11 "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."
Isaiah 28:10 " For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:"
Life walking with God, is tender and caring.
He loves to partner with us in our becoming, as He designed us to be in this life.
He only waits for us to trust Him in knowing this.
God rejoices with us at every progression.
He will bring us to understanding IN HIM.
This is freedom - to LIVE in truth, in this life, of HIS broad place... of HIS Delight!
God delights in us!

Psalm 18:19 "He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me."
This is also the narrow path that only our own free will bring us face to face with the Father, to partner with God, to hear and know truth in our own life. The alternatives would be maybe if God had created us to be robots! Be what God made you to be, one who was made to know more. More than if we did not choose for the 'more', then to be the More that is needed.
Matthew 7:12-14
12 "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Our desire is to remain faithful and obedient to God's call as Saints, to continue to grow as Sons of God, and to do so by continuing in the work of intercession before the Throne of God. Together each pursue a lifestyle of commune with God, as well as to enjoy the benefit of continued spiritual fellowship with one another. The Father's Church is the Saint's Network center of support today, and functions to coordinate the Network at large.
