Our individual-level antiracism interventions include facilitated training workshops that focus on (a) increasing staff ability to cope with intense emotions (e.g., guilt, fear) that arise when discussing racism and privilege, (b) improving staff ability to effectively engage in interracial and intercultural dialogue without emotions getting in the way, and (c) enhancing staff awareness and mindfulness about intrapersonal, interpersonal, and organizational barriers that undermine antiracist efforts.
