• Youssef Mahmoud – former UN official with extensive experience in peacebuilding and peacekeeping; currently Senior Adviser Emeritus at the International Peace Institute (IPI) and board member of several organizations. wiki page

• Mariana Fernández –  specializing in peace, security, disarmament, and nuclear abolition with Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung, presenting the work of METO (Middle East Treaty Organization) to Eradicate Weapons of Mass Destruction from the Middle East

• David Andersson – a writer and humanist based in New York City, editor with Pressenza International Press Agency, and coordinator of the Davids Campaign: A Global Call for Nonviolent Renewal in the Middle East

Participants will discuss and work on these two points:

1. Drafting a Declaration for the Future
   Drafting of a short declaration or message to be read, as custodians of the future, at the forthcoming NPT Review Conference in May at the United Nations in New York City.

2. From Vision to Action
   Advancing the implementation of the International Forum on Peace and Nonviolence in the Middle East, planned for May 2026.
