# Privacy Policy — The Daily Alibi

This Privacy Policy explains how **The Daily Alibi** ("the app", "we", "us") handles information.

The app is developed and published by an independent developer (contact below). By using the app

you agree to this policy.

## Summary

The Daily Alibi has **no account, no login, and no servers of our own**. Your game progress

(streak, results, settings) is stored **only on your device**. The only information collected is

gathered by **Google AdMob** to show ads.

## Information collected

We do not ask for or collect any personal information such as your name, email, contacts, photos,

location history, or payment details.

Because the app shows ads through **Google AdMob**, the AdMob SDK may collect and process:

- **Advertising ID** (a resettable device identifier) and similar device identifiers.

- **Approximate (coarse) location**, derived from your network/IP, used for ad relevance.

- **App activity and ad interactions** (e.g., ads shown/clicked).

- **Diagnostics** such as crash logs and performance data.

This information is used to serve and measure advertising and to keep the app working. Google's use

## On-device data

Your streak, solved/missed history, ratings, settings, and Streak Freezes are saved in your

device's local storage. We cannot see this data. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

## How information is used

- To display and measure ads (via Google AdMob).

- To diagnose crashes and improve stability.

We do **not** sell your personal information. We do not share data with third parties other than

the advertising/analytics provider (Google) as described above.

## Your choices

- **Reset or limit ad personalization:** Android **Settings → Privacy → Ads** lets you reset your

  Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization.

- **Delete your data:** uninstall the app to remove all on-device data.

## Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will address it.

## Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
