After two years of being stopped, the Division School Paper Contest (DSPC) has now returned.
This contest is already being discussed the national level because it will serve as a way for journalists to show their talents and demonstrate that they have the freedom to express what they want to share with the community, especially within school. Also, this kind of contest will serve as a way to encourage other students to join.
The aim of DSPC is to equip and provide students with relevant knowledge, improve their journalism skills, promote responsible and free journalism, and enrich learning experiences through healthy and friendly competitions.
It is delightful that DSPC has now returned because this has been long awaited by many young journalists and school paper advisers to happen again after the pandemic, and through this event, many students in campus journalism will have a chance to express their knowledge, skills, and talents and compete with other contestants.
Furthermore, before approving this DSPC to return, the leaders have been guided in all the municipal and national protocols, and all the contestants have ensured that they are well and properly fitted into the DSPC.
Not only but also, before, and during the contest, the nurse will manage the health and safety of the contestants so that if something bad happens, the contestants have someone to turn to.
