Jordan Heagy is an editor Emeritus for The Copper Quill and English alumni from HACC. She currently has a job running trivia for the Lancaster area, and is the World’s Number One Dragon Enthusiast. She enjoys birdwatching, reading fantasy novels, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with her friends. She is currently working on her first novel.
Chloé Lanteigne-Marrow is an English major at HACC's York Campus and an Irish dance teacher. In her spare time, Chloé likes to spend time with her family and friends, Irish dance, read, and write.
Faculty Advisors.
Rick Kearns is a poet, freelance writer, and musician of Boricua (Puerto Rican) and European heritage from Harrisburg, PA. He was named Poet Laureate of Harrisburg in January of 2014. His poems have appeared in over 80 journals. Kearns' poems are also in two books, five national anthologies, two international anthologies, and seven chapbooks. Several of his poems have been translated into Spanish and Portuguese. He is an adjunct professor of English at HACC and a faculty advisor for The Copper Quill.
Julie Shepard is an associate professor of English. She holds a master's degree in English from Boston College with a focus in Irish literature and culture. She was previously a faculty advisor for The White Rose Journal, HACC's York campus literary magazine, and is a faculty advisor of The Copper Quill.

Georgia Gallahue is a part-time student at HACC, studying creative writing. She enjoys literature, music, eating hummus, and drinking green tea. Her poetry has been published in The Copper Quill.
Diana Garcia is a registered nurse who graduated from HACC Gettysburg's nursing program. She has published poetry in Voices and The Copper Quill. She enjoys reading novels, writing poetry and short fiction, experimenting with art and music, and listening to podcasts in her spare time.
Mariana Martinez, also known as ‘Mari’, is a full-time HACC student in their first semester majoring in communications. When Mars isn't in school or working, they spend their time writing, reading, cosplaying, playing video games, or spending time with their friends.
Mi’Angel McRae is a full-time English major at HACC. Her poetry and creative nonfiction piece was published in The Copper Quill. Alongside writing she enjoys mystery books, the Sims, crochet, knitting, and photo editing.
Aryana Meyers is a pre-health major at the Lancaster HACC campus who enjoys writing, photography and art. In her free time she likes to travel, read, listen to music and hit up local coffee shops. She also enjoys being a tourist in her own city.
Shalea "Shay" Montanez is an English major at HACC's Harrisburg Campus, studying to become a professional editor. In her free time she writes short stories, poems, and plays Dungeons and Dragons to expand her imagination. Her favorite authors are Toni Morrison and Pear S. Buck.
Zoey Trubey obtained her GED through a home school program and has plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh in the spring of 2022. Her poetry has been published in The Scrawls newsletter, and she is working on a book of poems. Her passions include reading YA novels and manga, writing, and eating oatmeal.
