God bless you, good morning, I’m a believer

Learning daily to walk in the light

I’m dynamic, a giver and receiver,

To stay warm on the darkest of nights

I’m a speaker with listening skills

My identity is not where I’m from

I’ve seen valleys at sunset, watched sunrises from hills,

Yet to serve is the reason I’ve come

No, I haven’t arrived in the least

There are still many more miles to go

I’m still walking high on two feet

In contentment I’ll be still and know

I’ve found power and love on my way

This makes everything else worth the while

Truly thankful to see one more day

Graced to finish the race with a smile
