Constitution of The Bellingdale-Nebraska Coalition
Section 1: Government
Article 1 - There will be 1 representative of each faction. There will also be a Supreme President. (Ryder for Life or ‘til Resignation)
Article 2 - For a faction to exist, it must be approved by the president. The representative of the faction will be elected by members of the faction
Article 3 - To become a member of a faction, the faction representative must accept them in
Article 4 - The responsibilities of a faction representative are (a) To represent the faction in formal meetings. (b) Manage the faction and the people in it according to the law and presidents wishes.
Article 5 - The factions have these following rights. (a) Right to request a new law. (b)the right to a declaration of war. (c) The right to join, or combine with, another faction (if approved by both factions
Article 6 - President will be rejected only when the current president resigns or refuse to hold office in the event of war
Article 7 - The responsibilities of the president are, (a) Be the secretary of the military. (b) Passing and vetoing laws. (c) To be the face of the mighty nation. (d) To maintain the general organization and procedure of the country
Article 8 - If a faction or president wishes to declare war, a council meeting will take place with each of the faction leaders. This is the “Supreme Council.” Each faction representative will cast their vote if they would like to declare war or not. Afterwards, the president holds the veto responsibility. If they veto the declaration after it has passed, a ⅔ super majority may occur to overturn the veto of the president.
Article 9 - If the president refuses to uphold office in the event of an outbreak of war, the president will be forced to resign. The Vice President will take his place until a vote occurs.
Article 10 - The Prime Minister is pretty much just a title, it's just the tie breaking vote
Section 2: Membership
Article 1: If someone wishes to join or re-enter the Coalition, then the president will approve them or deny them. Afterwards they will choose which faction they wish to join and its respective faction representative will have to accept or deny them. If they wish to create their own faction, a majority vote will have to occur in order for them to create this new faction.
Article 2: 7th graders may join as honorary members until they are in 8th grade. They will abide by the following restrictions. (a) They have no voting rights. (b) They cannot be a faction representative nor can they be or run for president. (c) They may not be an officer in any future created military. (d) They are not protected by any anti-slavery laws. (e) They may not attend council meetings without presidential permission and protection.
Section 3: Military
Article 1 - Once it is created, there will be a Coalition army at all times
Article 2 - Nukes will be controlled by the president and his nuclear assistant. If one wishes to launch a nuke, a similar process to the one for declaring war will occur. (See Section 1, Article 8)
Article 3 - The nukes will always, and if not by punishment of death, be launched by a shiny red button
Section 3: Morale Code and Classified Information
Article 1 - The sacred law of SNITCHES GET STITCHES. Whether it be something that could get someone in trouble, or leaking classified information, you are subject to trial and most likely to lose governmental status.
Article 2 - Creating a document made of classified information is only allowed by The President and the FIB (Federal Investigation Bureau, which is the CIA but a different name) and only be accessible by those people and a possible select few.
Article 3 - Don't be an A-hole. You will be punished to avoid further hostilities (see Section 4, Articles 1-4).
Article 4 - Robbery of or unlicensed reading of a classified document will be considered an offense, and if it happens enough times a trial of expulsion will take place.
Section 4: Expulsion
Article 1 - We would like to keep our members to remain a part of the country. However, if you are a offender of the president's laws and/or directly disobeying the word of the president you will be put on trial of expulsion or strippage of duties/voting rights
Article 2 - First offense: temporary loss of federal duties, voting rights, and one week ban
Article 3 - Second offense: possibly permanent strippage of duties/voting rights and one week ban
Article 4 - Third offense: trial of temporary expulsion
Article 5 - Fourth and onward offenses: expulsion without set re-entry date
Article 6 - A trial of expulsion or strippage of duties/voting rights will include every official member including the president and themself. The one on trial will plead his case and we will vote. If a ⅔ supermajority occurs, you will be expelled from the country until further notice.
Bill of Rights
Amendment 1 - Anyone in 7th grade or below does not get any of the below or above rights.
Amendment 2 - Requirement to bear some sort of weapon
Amendment 3 - You cannot be a slave
Amendment 4 - Freedom. (Of speech, life, etc)
