We are the Bellingdale-Nebraska Coalition. We are a semi-independent micronation with 14 members, and are recognized by at least 30 people. We own Chuckanut Island and several other territories, and we know every inch of Bellingham and the surrounding country. Most of our members live in Whatcom County in Washington State, but one lives in Omaha, Nebraska. We are a supportive Christian community, but religion is not a requirement to join.
