The Close is a large detached extended two storey Victorian home providing personal care for twenty one elderly residents.
The accommodation is provided on 2 levels with 17 single rooms (8 with en-suite) and 2 double rooms.
Each bedroom is furnished with a nurse call bell, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and an armchair. The residents could bring their own furniture and ornaments to make them feel home. We can make arrangements for residents who need special beds/walking frames/wheel chair etc through the local surgery or social services. Most of rooms has a telephone point and all rooms has a television point. We have 3 reception areas. One is a quiet lounge with books to read, or watch the fish making bubbles or just watch out side the pleasant garden and country road. One is a TV lounge where you could socialise and entertain your guests. Third is the conservatory. You could also receive your guests in the dining room. The dining room has facilities to play a variety of music.
Outside is with a pleasant secluded garden where you can spend time and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. To the front of the property there is a large parking area for many visitors as possible and more garden.
The home has all doors and hallways with wheelchair access and there is a 6 person passenger lift and a chair lift. The home is well decorated and maintained to high standards to ensure the living environment is pleasant.
