FIRST stands for For Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology.

It is a robotics program for kids of all ages. There are 4 FIRST programs which include:

First Lego League Explore - grades 1-3

First Lego League Challenge - grades 4-7

First Tech Challenge - Grades 7-12

First Robotics Challenge - Grades 9-12

FIRST helps you develop skills that you will use a lot in the real world, like innovation, teamwork, inclusion and gracious professionalism and more. FIRST is a particularly good program for those who want to work in a STEM related job later on as a lot of the things that you do in FIRST directly correlate to things you do as a engineer.
