The Glenn Memorial Women’s Club is a beautiful home at 307 Fifth Avenue West in Springfield. The home was left as a gift to women’s organizations following Mollie Dulin Glenn’s death in 1946.

Mollie Dulin married Neil Glenn in 1889 and moved to Springfield. Mr. Glenn served as the Springfield Mayor and School commissioner and is remembered as being instrumental in getting the first water and sewer systems for the city. Mrs. Glenn helped encourage the Short Story Club’s founding of the first public library in Springfield.

In 1905, the Glenns purchased the house and lot on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Walnut Street. Today, it provides a meeting place for eight women’s clubs: The Short Story Club, Wednesday Study Club, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Daughters of the American Colonists (DAC), Robertson County Career Women, Century Club and the Women’s Outreach Club.
