The New Retro Discoveries
The New Retro has the old retro style.
Hello Everyone! I'm Gail Nobles, and you're listening to the Cat Bear Audio Station. Before I get started playing a song for you today, I would like to say I haven't' heard much on the radio lately. There's a lot of songs that I miss hearing over and over again like the band America singing "Lonely People".
I have a song for you today titled, "Gonna Love You More" by an artist named Ivan Chew........
Hi! I'm Gail Nobles, and you're listening to The Cat Bear, and today I'm thinking of music from the late 70's like Boz Scaggs
You know. Something like that. I miss Boz Scaggs's sound. Soul and Disco. But you know, music has changed a lot, and maybe today you'd like to hear something new. We'll let's get into today's music. Here's a song titled, "Call Your Bluff" by Scomber......
And speaking of country, I remember some good old country songs like the 1975 novelty song "Convoy" by C.W. McCall, and "The Devil Went Down In Georgia" by the Charlie Daniels Band in 1979. There's a new country song that I came across. It reminds me of an old country style. It's called "Tracing My Steps".
Today, we reminisce, and we still hold on to those disco oldies. Believe it or not, there are people still inspired by those oldies and the songwriters that wrote the words. They wrote the stories of our lives. The lead singers, the background singers, and all those voices harmonized a great sound.
Whose singing disco today? Coming up next is an artist by the name of Bocrew, and the title of the song, "A Tribute to Mathias From Vevey".
