The Carenest Foundation, based in Uganda, Africa, is a beacon of hope for vulnerable children, founded by Uncle Romio. Growing up as a street kid in Kisenyi, Kampala, Uncle Romio experienced firsthand the hardships of hunger, illness, and lack of support after losing his parents at a young age. Determined to make a difference, he established Carenest Foundation in 2018 with a mission to provide a safe haven and support for orphans and needy children.

Let me introduce my Self

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. My name is Uncle Romio, and I am the founder of The Carenest Foundation, an orphanage home located in Uganda. Our mission is to support needy individuals, including street children and orphans.

In 2018, I founded Carenest Foundation with the aim of providing a safe haven for vulnerable children. Currently, our orphanage is home to 25 orphans, and we also support an additional 19 children within their families. The children under our care face many challenges, including hunger, lack of proper shelter, inadequate medical care, and limited access to education.

The most pressing issue we face at Carenest Foundation is hunger, as children are particularly sensitive to food insecurity. We strive to meet their basic needs and create a nurturing environment where they can thrive.
