Our Story
We are two brothers fortunate enough to realize that every student should have the opportunity to be what they want.
Why?
"I am not a role model" - was a quote in a NIKE commercial featuring Charles Barkley. Barkely made this statement after seeing the difference between rural students and urban students when he asked the question "What do you want to be when you grow up". The majority of students from urban schools said professional basketball/football player or rapper. The majority of students from rural schools said doctors, lawyers, and teachers. Many students don't see certain professions as possibilities because they don't see people from their backgrounds in that profession. Even in our own family, our father who is in law enforcement, growing up never saw it as a possibility. We started the club to help expose students to variety of professions that they wouldn't consider otherwise.
