At The Burks Foundation, we believe no one in our community should face hunger or cold nights without support. Our Donation Boxes, available year-round, are a place where your generosity transforms into hope.

- One side of the box is dedicated to clothing donations — jackets, sweaters, blankets, shoes, and other items that help keep someone warm during the hardest nights.
- The other side is for non-perishable canned food — meals that go directly to feed families, children, and individuals who might otherwise go to bed hungry.
💡 If you wish to pledge a donation, consider giving the value of 5 canned goods or more to help us provide meals to deserving members of our community.
Can’t make it to a box location? No problem — you can donate online or scan the QR code on any donation box to give instantly.

One cold evening, a man named James found himself sleeping under a bridge with nothing but a thin shirt. The temperature was dropping, and he thought he wouldn’t make it through the night. That very day, a Burks Foundation volunteer brought donated coats and blankets from one of our community boxes. James was given a heavy jacket and a blanket that night.
In his own words:
“That coat wasn’t just clothing. It was life. It was hope. It reminded me someone cared enough to think of me.”
The next morning, James also received a warm meal made possible by canned food donations from our community. What may have felt like a small gesture to a donor — a coat from their closet, a few cans of food from their pantry — became the difference between despair and survival for someone in need.
