This Privacy Policy describes how Boring CRM ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
1. Our Commitment to Privacy
Your privacy is critically important to us. A core feature of Boring CRM is that all of the personal and customer data you enter (such as your profile information, leads, remarks, and follow-ups) is stored locally on your device only. We do not have a server, and we do not collect, transmit, or store this data remotely. You are in full control of your data.
2. Information We Collect
a) Information You Provide to Us:
User Profile Information: When you set up or complete your profile, we ask for information such as your name, mobile number, city, gender, and profession. This information is used to personalize your experience within the app and is stored only on your device.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Data: The core function of the app is to store data you enter about your leads. This includes leads' names, mobile numbers, email addresses, as well as any statuses, projects, sources, remarks, and follow-up schedules you create. This data is essential for the app to function and is stored exclusively on your device.
b) Information Collected Automatically:
Advertising Data: Our app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. To provide relevant ads, Google may collect certain information automatically, including your device's advertising ID, IP address, and information about your interactions with ads. 3. How We Use Your Information
The information collected is used for the following purposes:
To Provide Core App Functionality: Your profile and CRM data are used to power all the features of the app, such as displaying your leads, managing your pipeline, and scheduling follow-ups.
To Display Advertisements: We use the Google Mobile Ads SDK to show ads, which supports the free version of the app.
To Offer In-App Purchases: We use the Google Play Billing service to allow you to purchase an ad-free version of the app.
To Provide Local Notifications: The app uses your follow-up data to schedule and send you local notifications as reminders. These notifications are processed entirely on your device.
To Secure Your App: If you enable the App Lock feature, the app will use your device's biometric (fingerprint) or screen lock authentication. We do not receive, store, or transmit your biometric data; we only receive a success or failure response from your device's operating system.
4. Data Storage and Security
All CRM data you enter into the app is stored locally on your device's internal storage using a secure, sandboxed database. This data is not sent to any external server and cannot be accessed by us.
You are responsible for the security of your own device. The app provides backup and export features that allow you to create a file of your data. When you use this feature, the data file is created on your device and is shared or stored under your own control and responsibility.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable CRM data to outside parties. Your data is not shared with anyone unless you explicitly choose to share it using the app's export/backup functionality.
Our third-party service providers have their own privacy policies:
Google AdMob & Google Play Billing: We share information with Google only as necessary to provide advertising and process in-app purchases.
Third-Party Applications (Phone, WhatsApp): When you initiate a call or message from within the app, you are interacting with third-party applications. Your use of those applications is subject to their respective privacy policies.
6. In-App Purchases
The app offers a one-time in-app purchase to remove all advertisements. This transaction is processed securely by the Google Play Store. We do not collect or store any of your financial information, such as credit card numbers. After a successful purchase, a flag is saved locally on your device to disable ads.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Accessing and Editing Data: You can view, edit, and delete your profile and all your CRM data at any time from within the app.
Deleting Data: The app provides a "Delete All Data" option in the settings, which will permanently erase all your locally stored information.
Opting-Out of Personalized Ads: You can opt-out of personalized advertising by adjusting the settings on your Android device (usually under Settings > Google > Ads).
8. Children's Privacy
Our app is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
