Take a look at our first issue
My name is Ava Cook, and I'm a high school student in Ontario, Canada. Ever since I was a child, I've been surrounded by architecture, as my dad is an architect. Growing up, I've always been fascinated by the art of designing buildings and the rich history behind various architectural styles. It has fuelled my passion for the subject, and I find myself constantly exploring new concepts, historical landmarks, and innovative designs.
Having an architect as a parent has been a huge influence on my life. I've had the privilege of seeing firsthand the dedication and creativity that goes into designing structures that not only serve functional purposes but also leave a lasting impact on people and the surrounding environment. This exposure has nurtured a deep love for architecture, and I'm eager to explore and share my thoughts on this fascinating field.
With my passion for architecture and the inspiration from my dad, I've decided to start a blog to express my love for this subject and share my thoughts with others who are equally interested. The primary goal of my blog is to spread awareness about architecture, its diverse styles, and its influence on our daily lives. I also want to provide a platform for architectural enthusiasts to engage, learn, and discuss various aspects of this field.
On my blog, visitors can expect bi-weekly issues that delve into different subjects in architecture. I'll cover a wide range of topics, from iconic buildings and influential architects to emerging trends and sustainable designs. I'll share my thoughts, analysis, and insights, while also encouraging interaction through comments and discussions.
Additionally, I'm excited to offer a monthly podcast featuring conversations with professional architects. During these podcasts, we'll answer questions from listeners and dive deep into the profession. It will be a great opportunity to learn from experienced architects, understand their design philosophies, and gain valuable advice for aspiring architects like me.
In a nutshell, my website will be a hub for all things architecture, catering to architecture enthusiasts, students, and anyone curious about the world of design and history. I hope that through my blog and podcast, I can ignite a passion for architecture in others and foster a community of like-minded individuals who appreciate the beauty and significance of the built environment.
