This song was the first time Dustin and I went to a more official studio than recording in my bedroom. Dustin had been hit up by @djariarz to come to the studio and record something. So Dustin brought me along. Initially, it was hard for me to record because usually, it’s just the two of us, but now there was Ari and his friend Lindell. So we played around on a couple of beats but I brought up the beat used, which I freestyle the day or two before in-between classes. Ari put the beat on and I put the hook down. Then I started writing my verse and put it down. The high pitched sound in the beginning is actually me whistling in autotune. Dustin came in and put his verse down and we knew we made something pretty special. This was in November of 2019.

The cover stems from several ideas, one of old mixtape cover and two my sticker idea. Eventually, I decided not to put the sticker effect onto us and leave it just as the words and use. The actual photo is me with Dustin superimposed onto my photo. This had to be done because Dustin and I were the only two there when taking the photos, so we couldn’t be in one together.
